About Ilyas

Ever since I was a kid, I was fascinated by geography. I could spend hours looking at maps, learning about different countries, and imagining what life was like on the other side of the world. At the same time, I was always drawn to food and cooking. There was something exciting about how every culture had its own unique dishes, ingredients, and traditions.

As I got older, those two interests naturally came together. The more I learned about different places, the more I wanted to experience them through their food. Cooking became my way of exploring the world without leaving my kitchen. One day I might be making a Japanese-inspired drink, and the next I could be recreating a comforting Mexican recipe or a classic European pastry.

Global Food Eats grew from that passion. It’s where my love of world cultures and home cooking meet, and it’s my way of sharing that journey with others. My hope is that every recipe helps you discover something new, connect with another culture, and enjoy great food along the way.
