Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fresh green beans trimmed
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil divided
  • 6-8 cloves garlic minced
  • 2-3 dried red chilies (optional)
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • ½ tsp cornstarch
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Trim green beans and pat completely dry. Mince garlic and ginger. Mix all sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Heat wok over high heat. Add 1 tablespoon oil and swirl. Add green beans in single layer. Let sit undisturbed 2-3 minutes, then toss. Repeat until beans are blistered and tender-crisp, 6-8 minutes total. Transfer to plate.
  • Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining oil and dried chilies. Toast 10 seconds. Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry 30-45 seconds until fragrant.
  • Return beans to wok. Pour in sauce and toss constantly 1-2 minutes until sauce thickens and coats beans.
  • Transfer to serving plate. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve immediately.
